Imam Tawhidi’s office has taken action against Moustafa Awad, a Melbourne-Based extremist lawyer who wanted Imam Tawhidi poisoned, and wished for ISIS to come to Australia, kidnap Imam Tawhidi and ‘Make Fata’ with his head (behead him and abuse his head).
On the 27th of February 2019, Imam Tawhidi issued a formal complaint to the The Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner highlighting the full incident that occurred on the 11th of February 2019, as well as the inappropriate and dangerous conduct of Mr. Awad. This report was compiled after the Imam sought legal advice, and had informed the relevant government departments and officials regarding the situation.
