On the 13th of February 2020, last week, Melbourne Magistrates Court sided with me against the Melbourne-Based lawyer Mr. Moustafa Awad, who wanted me poisoned and for ISIS to kidnap, behead me and turn my head into a meal. Her Honour ruled that Mr. Awad’s excuse for such remarks, claiming they were “Jokes” was not acceptable. The legal order he sought against me, to silence me permanently from exposing his promotion of terrorism against my person, was also dismissed.
For an entire year, I was dragged between courts throughout Adelaide and Melbourne, and spent hundreds of hours discussing my defense strategy with my lawyer. Not to mention the tens of thousands of dollars spent in legal fees.
Such individuals think they can promote acts of terrorism against others and escape responsibility and consequences. I was targeted because I testified and gave evidence in parliament against the corruption taking place within my Muslim community. I should not be beheaded for that. Nor should anyone else for that matter.
I am now going on the offensive to seek justice. Mr. Awad’s documented promotion of ISIS terrorism might encourage one or more vulnerable Muslims to engage in violent acts. I personally believe that Mr. Awad should be disbarred, as well as made to apologize and take full responsibility for his actions. Otherwise, this will set a dangerous precedent, and no one would dare testify against Islamic Extremists in Parliament again out of fear from what could happen to them on the outside.
Mr. Awad is a principal lawyer, and to my knowledge has no legal costs to worry about. But I do. You generously supported me one year ago, and we won the defense. We shall win again and make an example out of him, by law.
