I begin by sending my condolences to the Jewish World on Tisha B’Av, the saddest day in the Jewish calendar. I join all of my Jewish friends and faith leaders in mourning the destruction of the two Temples that once stood in Jerusalem.
I wish those observing this period a meaningful and easy fast.
This is a time of reflection and unity against all those who wish to annihilate the Jewish nation and its people.
